Being as the pics are already small, making them thumbnails doesn't look to save much bandwidth. Perhaps make a copy of it with links to the images only (for low bw) and have the images in full on the other (high bw).
I found the way the images are now a bit annoying. I'm willing to do the editing, also. We could keep the current URL as the portal to the two versions to keep things cool for those that have this bookmarked or linked.
