Place a Mounted Machine Gun

  1. Make flat area with the terrain tool.
  2. Place the tripod (Objects\weapons\asian\shi_ten\tripod_tp_nophysik.cgf)
  3. Move the tripod so its feet are exactly on the terrain.
  4. Give the tripod a SmartObjectClass MountedMG.
  5. With the MountedMG selected do Modify --> Align/Snap --> Align To Object.
  6. Click on the tripod. This will align the MG perfectly to the tripod.

Notes

Need fact check on this one. The original thread has "MountedMG" in step 5 hidden by a cuss filter
