How-To
- Open your level in Sandbox2.
- Go to Rollup Bar > Terrain > Vegetation.
- Create a new category by clicking the Add Category and name it Underwater.
- Click on Add Vegetation Objects.
- Go to "Game\objects\natural\underwater_plants".
- Mark the objects you want to add (you can do this by holding down Ctrl and then clicking on all the objects you want) or select all of them and click ok. To see roughly what the models will look like, a small preview is shown in the bottom left hand corner of the window.
- Click on the name of the vegetation category (thus selecting all of them), scroll down the parameters, and set the ElevationMin value to 0.
- Now you are able to paint the vegetation by first selecting the ones you want to paint, adjusting the brush radius (this can be done by dragging the yellow slider around) and finally click on Paint objects.
- Alternatively, you can place individual vegetation object by selecting the vegetation object in the Rollup Bar, holding down Shift and then clicking in the perspective view where you want the object to be placed.
