Snap to Grid

Snap to Grid is used to place objects on a virtual grid. Each grid cell's cell can be changed by the user. Snapping objects to a grid is useful for avoiding gaps between objects.

Change the Grid Cell Size

The small arrow directly next to the main movement snap button will bring up a drop down menu.

This can be used to select the size of the grid to use to align against. Clicking Setup Grid will show the following center

Snap Angle

Snap Angle will cause your objects to snap and only rotate by the predefined set amount. For example, you can make your objects rotate only to 60/120/180/240/300 degrees if you set Snap Angle to 30.

Note
You can also access Angle Snap by going to Display→Snap Angle.
