What is the CryWiki?

Welcome to the CryWiki! We are a community-driven project aimed at providing both comprehensive and intuitive means for assisting all levels of aspiring modders with both the CryENGINE2 Sandbox2 Editor and the Crysis franchise Software Development Kit. This Wiki contains information that will prove useful to both beginners and advanced users alike. Whether you are here to share information and techniques with others, or you are just starting out with modding in general, the CryWiki is your source for all things related to Crysis and Crysis Wars design and modding.

Featured Tutorial

This tutorial demonstrates how to create animated objects and export them using the SDK exporter. It also covers using the Flowgraph editor to play those animations in Sandbox2, all in a helpful easy to follow video guide.

Featured Flowgraph

This flowgraph allows you to capture an set area. This area is defined by the area trigger and shape under which the flowgraph is filed under. You can change the bar's add and subtract rate in the two nodes at the bottom.

This function returns the EntityId of the entity under the mouse cursor in realtime; this is useful for a variety of various mods, ranging from strategy to point and click genre gameplay styles.

CryWiki Update

Nearly one year after the initial wiki launch, the wiki has been revamped to offer a better experience for both readers and contributors. Not only will the wiki keep providing quality community articles, all the official documentation is now on here as well. Along with the official documentation, there's also a new skin and nifty new features like video embedding and the flowgraphviewer; for full details, head over to the Crymod newspost.
